Become a Railroader, a mysterious time-traveling entrepreneur driving the explosive growth of commerce throughout history. Whether playing in 1801, 2001, or 3401, the CenturyVerse is ripe with opportunity. Maybe you’ll turn out to be the Railroader of lore and discover one of the legendary Century Trains.  Train of the Century has an intricate sci-fi fantasy story woven into its structure. At specific pre-determined points of the game, you’ll be approached by NPCs who want to speak with you. Be careful what you say and to whom: Not everybody in the Centuryverse deserves your trust…  The first Modern Century Campaign comprises ten chapters, each composed of 3 Story Encounters. That means there are 30 encounters for you to interact with—and yes, we mean to interact with. We hope that you enjoy the visual novel-style gameplay we’ve prepared for you and that you’ll be the one to get to the bottom of what’s going on in the Centuryverse.  
### Gameplay
The first time a Railroader dives into the Centuryverse, they ’ll be randomly placed at a starting Station and prompted to build their first train. The minimum requirement for completing a Rail Run is a Conductor-assigned Locomotive, but the real payouts come from transporting Commodities and Passengers.  From the first run, a Railroader can add Rail Cars, load them with Commodities and begin to Rule the Rails. Multiple factors come into play when deciding on an optimal train setup. These factors include but are not limited to the: Next stop distance, fuel requirements, destination Commodity rates, and the time to arrival.  
### In-Game Token 
Tocium is the primary in-game currency of Train of the Century. It is the main reward for completing Rail Runs. Tocium features a REAL burn mechanism, meaning any Tocium that is used to purchase in-game elements will be burned, not retired. This burn mechanism will  reduce Tocium’s circulating supply and consequently, its max supply of 100 billion.

The Modern Century features five regions and 400 player-owned stations to explore.

Players can anticipate running into several non-player characters while ruling the rails. A trains conductor's luck level determines the frequency of NPC encounters.

Train of the Century has an intricate sci-fi fantasy story woven into its structure. At certain pre-determined points of the game, you'll be approached by NPCs who would like to have a word with you. 

Fungible items like Century Vials and Century Train Parts can be bought and sold to fellow players in the Railroader Emporium.
